AESTHETIC PEDICURE

This course is designed for certified Nail Technicians looking to upgrade their knowledge and skills. This course will provide you with both theory about the E-filing techniques  and cuticle care as well known as Dry Pedicure techniques  (or Russian Pedicure) and heels cleaning (for regular skin type) as an intensive practical part. 

✅ Kit included:  pedicure bits, metal pusher, cuticle scissors or nipper, brush liner

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

✅ You already are a nail artist and want to improve your skills for pedicure or you are at the beginning of the journey

✅ You want to be able to make an ideal cuticle work 

✅ You want to be able to make a flawless nail polish application on the nail, clean heels  and to be able to offer a guarantee of 4 weeks

✅You want to know how to apply the rubber base, the gel polish and make corrections with polygel

✅To apply color under the cuticle, to do French and other quick decorations in the salon

 WHAT YOU WILL LEARN?

– Introduction to this job, what investments it entails, equipping the work space

– The correct choice of the necessary equipment

– characteristics of the drill machine, the lamp, the vacuum cleaner and other devices 

– Work tools - characteristics 

– Classification and choice of bits according to the type of cuticle 

– Anatomy of the natural nail, types of natural nails 

– The structure of the skin, which layers of the epidermis we must work with to prevent the excessive growth of the cuticle and heels 

– Diseases and other infectious and non-infectious pathologies of nails and heels' skin 

– The correct stages of disinfection, sterilization and storage of the instruments  

– Filing and correct reproduction of the shape of natural nails 

– Correct preparation on the nails 

– Applying the nail polish under the cuticle 

– Repairing the missing corners of acrylic gel

Course duration – 1 intensive day (~10h)

Schedule - 9am-8pm

Coffee break 11am -11.30am

Lunch Break 3pm-4pm

Participation diploma is issued.

WHERE WILL TAKE PLACE THE TRAINING?

The training is held on the premises of Oana Beauty Studio located at the address 7877B Kingsway, room 210B. 

COURSE SCHEDULE:

9am – 11am - The most complex part is the theory; include rubber base alignment and color application.

11am – 11.30am – Coffee break

11.30am – 3pm– practice on 1st client - combined dry manicure (cleaning the nail plate with specific diamond bit and removing the cuticle with scissors) + applying the rubber base with perfect alignment, color under the cuticle.

3pm – 4pm – Lunch break 

4pm – 7pm – practice on 2nd client + French design

7pm – Q&A

NECESSARY TOOLS:

The following tools will be needed for use during the course.

– Synthetic liner brush 5/0 (provided in kit)

– Scissors/nipper for removing the cuticle  (provided in kit)

– Pusher (metallic spatula) for pushing the cuticle  (provided in kit)

– Diamond bit “flame”  (provided in kit)

– Diamond bit “cylinder/ball”  (provided in kit)

– Carbide bit for gel polish remover 

(If any of these is needed to be purchased by the student please notify me before training).

 👉Working space is  fully equipped (dust collector, e-file drill, sanitation station).
👉Model required

MODEL IS REQUIRED.

You are personally responsible for finding a model.
Models are asked to arrive at 11.30am after the theoretical part. No model is allowed to wait in the salon during the theoretical part.
Model must be available for the entire ~4 hour practical part.
